Salsa Bachata Social Club Dance Photography exhibition!

The Old Fire Station Gallery, Henley-on-Thames

Come and feel the magic of dancing… connection, energy, passion, excitement, romance, joy, elegance, fun, laughter, movement, happiness and much more more!

Here is a bit of history ….

I went to my very first Salsa lesson eight years ago with Red Hat Salsa in Loddon Hall in Twyford…It was a really difficult time of my life back then, so that one night of Salsa lessons was the only highlight of my week.

I remember so vividly that as soon as  I could hear the beat of the cheerful latin music, all my troubles and worries left my mind and my heart filled with joy…I probably looked rather silly with the big smile on my face all the time, but I just could not hide my happiness – I was dancing after all!

Since then lots of changes have happened in my life, and I am so happy and grateful for the way everything is right now….  It won’t be an understatement to say that dancing has totally transformed my life. I’ve met so many great people, made lots of amazing friends,  travelled to some exciting destinations and most importantly I experienced countless unforgettable moments of joy, elation, passion, excitement, fun and happiness on the dance floor.

It’s always been my desire to share the magic of dancing with the rest of the world, and this moment has finally come. Last year I met amazing Jennifer Benavidez and started photographing her monthly Salsa Bachata Social Club‘s party in Reading.  This summer we are holding a photo exhibition dedicated to dance photography in the Old Fire Station Gallery in Henley-on Thames.

“Connection, energy, passion, excitement, romance, joy, elegance, fun, laughter, emotions, freedom, movement and happiness” – that’s what dancing means to me. I am so excited to be able to share it through the images that I have created….
