Album Design Service is a new service that ABL Photography is very pleased to offer this year! We can help you create beautiful quality hard cover photo-books, which will become part of your family history. Photo-Books are fantastic for keeping memories of special holidays, birthdays, anniversaries and other events. They make very special gifts as well.
1) How does it work?
The process is very straight forward. First, we’ll schedule a free telephone consultation to discuss your project. Then you’ll send your photographs and I’ll prepare a first draft of the album. You will receive a link to the draft album and we’ll schedule to review it over the phone. Once you are happy with the design, you’ll approve it and make the payment and we’ll send the album to print.
2) How many photographs shall I use?
There are at least 10 spreads in an album (20 pages), so the absolute minimum number of photographs is 10, but I would recommend anything between 10 and 100 photographs.
3) How much does it cost?
Each album is priced individually, depending on the size and number of pages. Prices start from as little as £150 – that would be an 8″x 8″ 20 page album (including design with unlimited revisions).
4) How long does it take?
The total turn around time would be expected to be around 1 month.
5) How many times can I make changes?
You can make changes till you are 100% happy with the design.
6) Would you be able to retouch or enhance my photographs?
Yes, free cropping and photo enhancement (like brightening the photos or making them black and white) is included in the price. There might be a small charge for very intricate retouching, which would be discussed during your consultation.
7) How can I send the photographs to you?
There are many options. Usually the easiest way is to use Google Drive or free sites like Wetransfer.com.
8) Can I used photographs taken by a mobile phone?
Yes, absolutely. The important thing is to send your photographs in a way that they won’t loose quality. I will guide you on the best way to do it.
9) Is it possible to add captions?
Absolutely! we can add captions in any language and lovely decorations to your album.
