I’ve spent half of this month in Moscow with my family, so it is not a surprise that I’ve taken hundreds of photographs of my family and friends. This photograph captured my nephew in a rare moment when he was lost in deep thought. This is an unusual expression for this very lively and happy boy, and somehow I find it very captivating. It really stood out among all those happy smiles, so I’ve picked it as my favourite photograph for this month.
