I love Christmas in Twyford – the village where I lived for slightly over 17 years of my life. Twyford has become my home and feel very privileged to live in such safe and friendly place. I love the community that we have here in Twyford, and for many years I have been capturing various community events. This year, of course, all events had to be put on hold, but we still had our traditional Christmas Tree, and even the light switching ceremony took place with our local MP Teresa May.
Our local Business Group called Twyford Together has asked me to take some shots of the tree for their website, and it was a lovely little project for me to do.
Our Christmas tradition in Twyford is to decorate the tree with the starts which have messages on them. The messages are written by the local school children, and they are especially touching this year.
